Research Interests

The main target of the solid-state NMR group is the development of solid-state magic-angle spinning (MAS) NMR methodology that allows (structural) studies of membrane-integrated receptors and receptor-ligand complexes.
Solid-state NMR can provide valuable structural information of systems that cannot be accessed with well-established techniques for structure determination like liquid-state NMR or X-ray crystallography.
