Welcome to the Leibniz-Institut für Molekulare Pharmakologie!

The FMP is devoted to research in molecular pharmacology, a field which deals with the interaction of small molecules with their cellular targets, and the effects of these inter-actions on cells and organisms as a whole.
Our Molecular Physiology and Cell Biology section studies cell biology, physiology and pathology.
Our Chemical Biology section develops molecular tools for probing cellular processes.
Finally, our Structural Biology section explores drug-target interactions at the molecular level.
